  • In 1994, Tabatznik was named the South Atlantic Region and BIG EAST Coach of the Year after leading the Hoyas to an incredible 18-4 record. It was the school's first-ever berth in the NCAA Championship as well as its first BIG EAST regular season title.

  • Tabatznik was the recipient of Georgetown's Outstanding Coaching Achievement Award for 1994-95.

  • In 1997 Tabatznik was named the 1997 BIG EAST Coach of the Year.

  • There has also been a near perfect graduation rate in his 22 years, as well as a near perfect retention rate (only two transfers – and one came back to GU after transferring).

  • Tabatznik also served the soccer community by directing Maryland’s Olympic Development Program and by helping to start inner city soccer programs.
